On New Years Eve we found a new park downtown with beautiful scenery. The kids had a ball with their riding toys and playing in the park. We then had a blast with friends at a New Years Eve party! Got home and in bed by 9:00pm. My kind of New Years Celebration!!

Our trip to Al. is really long on the kids, so we decided to break it up and stop for a few hrs. in Birmingham Al. at the Mcwane Science Center and I'm so glad we did, the kids had a ball and it was well worth the price. Not too expensive either.

There's a verse in Psalms that says, "Blessed are those who celebrate the Feasts of the Lord". How true this verse is. We just spent 9 days celebrating the Feast of Tabernacles with 25-30 other friends and it was the best vacation we have ever had. We got to go to an olive grove and learn how they process the olives for olive oil. We also got to spend a lot of time in the presence of the Lord and spend time enjoying His creation. Sorry for all the pictures, but it was hard to pick out the best ones.

OUR 10TH ANNIVERSARY!!

We had the best anniversary ever!! Two good friends kept the kids for us ALL day and we took a nice boat ride to shell island and Bryan got to try out his snorkel gear I bought him. (we forgot the camera so there are no pictures) After a few hrs. at shell island, we came back to a condo that had been given to us for the night and got all dressed up to go out to eat. Bryan said he felt like he was going to the prom. I got to wear my new diamond earrings and necklace he bought me. The food was bad, but we laughed and had a good time anyway. Then we picked up the kids and went back to the condo for the night. I got one picture of the view from the condo. I love my husband more now than when we first got married. Every year brings a deeper love!!

Michael Isaac went from toddler level 1 to level 3 in swimming class over the past two weeks. Next week he gets to start level 3 and then he will offically be a swimmer! He dove off the diving board (and so did fearless Hannah). Hannah wasn't in the class since she just watches what they do and jumps right in and does it too. I don't have to pay for her to watch and she learns just as much as he does. It was lots of fun!!

The Children's Meseum in Atlanta is a super fun place. I highly recommend it and after 4 hrs. of play, my kids recommend it too!

We had a BLAST this weekend at Stone Mountain. We played and played and played! Michael Isaac couldn't wait to get there to ride the train and go up to the top of the mountain. When we arrived and he saw how big the mountain was, he said, Oh daddy I don't think we should go way up there. (He is our cautious one). We saw the Yogie Bear 4D movie and there were chips flying through the air. Hannah was trying to grab one and when they disappeared, she started crying, "I want that chip!! I want that chip!" There was no calming her down, so I had to take her out. Her favorite part was playing in the cool creek with bare feet. Can't wait to go back again!

We all had a wonderful time with granny, pops and Jennifer during their 3 day stay with us. Hannah enjoyed pouring water on granny's feet at the beach, Michael Isaac enjoyed the boat ride to see the dolphins, and Jennifer and I enjoyed going to the Wonderworks Museum. Thanks for a wonderful time Granny and Pops!

Michael had a blast with our friends Danny & Cindy and his best friend Eli and Eli's mom on his 4th birthday party. He made a very brave move that day when he put his bed buddy "snuggles" in a bag to be put away. He's made it for two nights now without sleeping with his "snuggles" but he is sick today and is having a hard time not having him.

Who is Apita? Apita is a young lady from Thailand that Bryan & I sponsererd for over 9 years through the House of Grace ministry. The House of Grace rescues girls who live in the villages of Thailand and are at high risk for being sold into the sex trade market, which is very high in Thailand. At the house of Grace they get food, shelter, clothing, schooling, and are taught the word of God. Apita accepted Jesus and was baptized in her teens. Bryan and I had prayed that one day we would get to go to Thailand and meet the girl that we sponsered and wrote letters to for over 9 years. God surprised us on Mother's Day and Apita came to visit us for 4 days. She has been in the states for over a year working as a nanny in WV through a nanny program. How blessed we were to have her in our home to get to know her in person and love on her.

The ladies at my church gave her an awesome blessing shower and it really ministered to her heart. I was in such a rush to slip out of my house without my kids crying for me that I forgot to get my camera for that night.

We spent time at the zoo, rode the rides at pier park, played putt putt and played on the beach. Her desire is to stay in the states, go to college and become a RN. I believe God will grant her the desires of her heart. She is a precious young woman.

A Purim party is the celebration of the liberation of the Jews from the hand of Haman. The story of Esther. It is lots of fun!! Hannah dressed up like Queen Esther and Michael was Mordeci. They read the story from the book of Esther and when you hear the word Haman everywone boos and makes LOTS of noise so his name can't be heard. When you hear the word Mordeci, everyone cheers. It was so cute to see Micheal Isaac get excited every time we cheered for Mordeci since that was who he dressed up like.

THE HOLIDAYS!!

We traveled to Ga. for Thanksgiving and to Al. and Ga. for Christmas. I didn't have my camera the whole time, so sorry to the family members that got left out of photos. As you can see from pitures below, I have a BIG family! We had a great time this year and Michael Isaac and Hannah LOVED playing with all their cousins. LOTS of cousins!! Michael Isaac couldn't remember all the names of his cousins so he started calling them, "my cousin in the pink, or my cousin wearing black pants, etc..."
Michael Isaac wanted to see snow sooooo bad and after staying a week in Al. and Atl. we left on Christmas Eve and it snowed the next day. He was very disappointed he didn't get to see it.
My favorite part of the Holidays are seeing family, eating sweets, and taking naps!!

A Friend of mine who has a ministry to the Jews and lives here in Panama City painted this picture for me to go in my living room. She is an awesome artist and has started painting to help support her ministry. HANNAH'S 2ND BIRTHDAY PARTY!!

Hannah is 2 today, Oct. 26, but we celebrated her party on Sunday while grandparents were here. It was a beautiful day, but VERY windy so Hannah did not get to blow out candles, but I don't think she minded. Her favorite part of the day was strolling around baby Blaise in his stroller. She did that for a LONG time. She also loved playing with her friends, and thanks to Granny Doris and Paw Paw Jim, everyone enjoyed the ride in our new beach wagon!!!

I am so blessed to be a part of a home school group here in Panama City. This past week we took two field trips and the kids LOVED them. The first one was to the pumpkin patch where they took a hay ride, got to pick a pumpkin, a sunflower, go to the petting barn and they LOVED the demonstration barn where they got to find eggs, pick apples, dig for potatoes, and milk a(fake)cow! They also loved the corn maze, and Hannah loved playing in the rain.
Next we went to a butterfly house where Hannah loved picking the flowers and Michael Isaac loved watching the bug eat the dead dragonfly. Being a stay at home mom is hard work, but a tremendous blessing!! I love it!

Welcome to our monthly postings! The first two pictures are of my future son and daughter in law. LOL. The first one is Michael Isaac's best friend, his name is Eli and he is pretty fond of Hannah. If you are wondering why his lips are blue, he just finished a snow cone. The second picture is Hannah & Hannah. Hannah is a little girl in Michael's class at church and his mother and I are trying to make arrangements now for their future! I wonder if they will go along with our plan lol.

The next pictures are from one day when Michael and Hannah found their winter hats and gloves and put them on and said, "hey mom, we want to go play in the snow". It's really funny because my kids have never seen real snow. Only in books and pictures.

The next pictures are of our trip this past weekend to Al. and Ga. to see all the grandparents. Michael and Hannah had fun in Al. playing with the kittens, picking maw maw's flowers, and riding the golf cart in the cow pasture. Then to Atl. where we spent one day with Bryan's parents and then a day at the Atl. Zoo with my mom and niece Jennifer. We all had a good time!!

4 DAYS OF FUN VACATION!!

Our first stop was Alabama where Michael Isaac went fishing with Paw Paw Jay and caught his first fish. Riding on the golf cart was a treat for both, except Hannah didn't enjoy riding in the back so much. The cows in the pasture was a treat since most of our neighbors on the beach don't have them in there back yard. LOL.

Our next stop was on our way to Atlanta, we stopped at Little River canyon to see the Falls, where Michael and Hannah got to taste their first honey suckle, which they loved!! In Atl. we had so much fun with friends and family at Michael Isaac's 3rd birthday party!! Thanks to everyone who came and made our day so special!

Michael likes playing with frogs!! The next few pictures are from Resurecction Sunday after church we went to Eden Gardens and had a great time!! It's a beautiful place!!

Michael's new potty!

This is too funny not to post. I've had trouble getting Michael Isaac interested enough in the potty to go. So last night I asked him if he wanted his own potty and he said yes. We took a family trip to Wal-Mart and let him pick out his own potty. Great choice, he picked one that plays "dunt dunt dunt dunt" everytime you potty. (you have to actually deposit something in the potty for it to play". We made the biggest deal out of this potty and when he got home, he was SOOOOO excited and wanted to try it out. He sat on it and waited, and waited, and waited, and nothing was happening. I told him it was ok we could try again tomorrow. He would not get up.

Soon, Bryan and I both just left him in there because he was determined to use this potty. In a few mins. I went to check on him and he had taken the potty apart and was putting it back together. He got it together and sat back down. The whole time just filled with excitment to use this potty. I almost had the dishes washed when he ran in the kitchen dancing up and down saying he had pee peed. We ran to the potty and there were three little drops of pee in the potty. We jumped up and down and had a grand celebration!! He got stickers and a cookie and big high fives and the whole works.

He gets up this morning and first thing wants to go use his potty. Again, he sits and sits and nothing happens. He wants us to leave the room, so we do and in a min. I hear the dunt dunt dunt dunt song and I run into the potty and there is pee! He is dancing up and down and all over the place!

He eats breakfast and back to his potty he goes. This time (after sitting forever) he does a poo job and is so excited he won't even put on his pull up. He just wants to sit on his potty all day! I get a comode brush and clean the big tolit and he has to use it to clean his too. Later he pees again and runs and ask me for a cookie. I told him that stickers were for pee and cookies were for poo. He ran back to his potty and worked hard for a long time and came running saying, Michael get a cookie now? I ran to the potty and there was the smallest piece of poo I have ever seen, he wanted a cookie REAL bad. He got one! If I had known potty training was going to be this easy, I would have bought this floor potty a long time ago, but then again, he may not have been ready.

THANKSGIVING

Thanksgiving, the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly!!

I thought it would be such a good idea for Bryan to take a week off work and we could go to Atl. and Al. and see all our family on one trip. BAD idea!! Hannah cried and fussed the whole way there (5 1/2 hrs.). Then Hannah pulled the central vac cover off the wall and Michael Isaac decided to stick his arm in it and got it stuck. I thought we were going to have to call 911, but thanks to daddy, his screw driver, and some cooking pam, we got it out, but not without a lot of tears. Every night either one of the kids or usually both woke up several times giving me no sleep for a whole week!! The trip home wasn't much better, however, there were some good times!

We enjoyed visiting our friends at Restoration Life church on Sunday. It was so refreshing to be back, it felt like we had never left! Thanks to granny Doris for a trip to the Ga. aquarium on Mon. We loved seeing the beauty of God's creation!! (This was the only day I took pictures, the rest of the time I was just trying to stay awake.) We enjoyed three big Thanksgiving meals. One with my family in Al. One with my family in Ga. and one with Bryan's family in Ga. We also really enjoyed getting to see our dear friends Mark and Jennifer Mozley who are missionaries in Africa and headed to Asia.

We are happy to be home!! When we arrived home, Michael Isaac said, "Michael is glad to be home, LET"S GO TO THE BEACH!!"

Ever wonder what your kids are doing when you are not looking?? I was at church last night and Bryan was getting things ready to give the kids a bath. He walked into the bathroom and found Michael Isaac and Hannah standing in front of the tolit and Michael Isaac had a cup and was putting it into the tolit and pouring it over Hannah's head!! They were both soaking wet! Good thing we keep our tolits flushed!

Joe came to spend the week with us and Michael Isaac has loved it! He loves his brother!

This was the week for visits from family and friends. This is Michael Isaac's cousin Jeremiah. They were camping near Pensecola and drove over for the day.

Paw Paw Jay came for the day to play with Michael Isaac at the beach.

My best friend from high school, Angie, came for the week with her family. They were also here last year for a week and didn't know we lived right across the road from where they stayed! This year we hooked up and had a great time reconnecting!

Joe is 16 and looking 26! He is a handsome young man and really excelling in school. Especially in music! He is even teaching his dad some things. He is in AP (Advanced Placement) classes and has won some awards. We are VERY proud of him!!

Michael Isaac is still found of his little sister and loves taking care of her. When she cries, he comes to me and lets out a fake cry and points to her and says "Annie" "Annie" he hasn't quiet got Hannah yet. He pulls me by the hand and makes sure I go see about her.

Hannah's Dedication at Restoration Life Church in Marietta with her two friends Anna Kessler and Chole Kitchens. The girls are all one month apart. Hannah being the youngest, but the biggest! Don't know how I have such big babies, but I sure love them!!!

She is so sweet sleeping! Michael Isaac sees her sleeping and puts his finger over his mouth and blows out of his nose. He thinks that's how we make the shhhhhh sound.

Michael Isaac was a sheep in a play we had at church. Hannah played Jesus. Hannah's tear duct in her left eye has been stopped up since birth and it runs none stop every day, ALL day. I said, "maybe her eye will be healed as she plays the role of Jesus" then we all laughed. I did however, say a quick prayer that Jesus would heal her during the play. As of Sunday, her eye has not run ONE TIME!! She really was healed! Oh me of little faith!!

When we first came to Fl. Michael Isaac didn't like the beach, now he points across the road everytime we go outside. The beach is his favorite place to go! I think he is going to be like his daddy, can't get enough of the beach!!
